Dr. Michele Turner holds a doctorate in Urban Education and a master's degree in Cultural Foundations of Education, both earned from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
Currently serving as the Lead Researcher at Madison College within the Institute for Equity and Transformational Change, Dr. Turner leads a dynamic team of action researchers. Together, they collaborate on various projects across the college, prioritizing research initiatives aimed at enhancing the success and retention of African American and Latino Men.
Dr. Turner's scholarly contributions have been recognized through the publication of numerous papers in esteemed academic journals. Her research has a particular focus on equity, anti-bias pedagogy, and student success. Through her leadership, research endeavors, and advocacy efforts, she continues to inspire positive change within academic institutions and beyond.
