Learn More About Dr. Michele Turner

I am Dr. Michele Turner, a teacher educator, business owner, and author with over 35 years of experience in the field of education.  Throughout my career, I have become known for my passionate focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of education. As an action research coordinator and lead research partner, I work hard to find innovative solutions to the educational challenges and issues that matter most to future generations.

My research interests include examining the experiences of Black childcare providers in Wisconsin. This book, based on my dissertation, explores the racialize experiences of Black family child care providers in the city of Milwaukee.
